What is causing my potatoes leaves to turn yellow and drop off?

Hi Duncan, has there been a late frost? Are they being watered regularly (depending upon the weather) or watered too much? What is the soil like – is it rich in organic matter such as compost? Has too much fertiliser been applied or not enough? If you can send in a photo we will be able to get a better idea of what is going on.
