Hi, when is the best time to plant strawberries?

Planting is best carried out during the winter and early spring. The plants can then become well established before providing a satisfactory crop in the following spring/summer season. Where frosts are very severe, you could grow your strawberries under plastic or glass cloches or planting could be delayed until spring.
