Hi there. I accidentally re-potted some indoor plants with your Tui Outdoor Container Mix. Are they going to be ok? Thanks.

Generally the answer is yes, the only difference with Tui Outdoor Container Mix is that it contains water crystals to help retain moisture in the soil. The benefit to this is that you won’t need to water as regularly as the water crystals act as small reservoirs retaining water for the plant. The roots attach themselves to the reservoirs and as the water is used, they shrink, when you water they expand again. The only plants I wouldn’t pot into Tui Outdoor Container Mix is African Violets and Streptocarpus. All other hardy indoor plants will be fine in that mix.
